Community Events

Stanly Community Christian Ministry and Atrium Health will have a mobile food bank giveaway on Sept. 7 in the Alcoa parking lot. Registration will be from 8-11 a.m.

Make sure you have Sept. 16 saved in your calendar. This is the date for the second annual West Badin Festival. The event will run from noon to 8 p.m. Vendors will be available.

Church News

Join St. Luke Church for Bible Study conference call each Wednesday from 7-7:30 p.m. The teacher for September will be Bishop Chenner Smith. The number to call is 704-471-3131.
Call to Pray is held the first and third Thursday each month at 6:30 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church. The facilitator is Minister Argene Peoples. The host pastor is Rev. Parnell Kelly.
