The City of Albemarle’s Public Housing Department has extended the deadline for Public Housing wait list applications.

The Public Housing Department operates Amhurst Gardens, a multi-family housing community and Elizabeth Heights, a senior community.
The Public Housing wait list will remain open until 5 p.m. Sept. 29. All applications are due at that time. Applications can be found online at www.albemarlenc.gov/publichousingapplication or in-person at the housing office at 300 S. Bell Ave., Albemarle.
