The Pfeiffer University men’s cross country team, running on its home course for the first time in several years, dominated the field and took home the team title on Sept. 16 in Misenheimer.

Pfeiffer placed all five scoring runners inside the top-11 as sophomore Sawyer Helms took home medalist honors after completing the 8K course in 26:48.2.

Freshman teammate Cannon Powell claimed second place with a 27:07.7. Cole Huggins (5th) and Ethan Witte (6th) also finished in the top-10 while senior Trent Rivers claimed 11th place.
