Stanly Board of Elections has a message: ‘say cheese and vote please’

In 2024 Stanly County voters will be asked to show a photo ID when voting.
The Board of Elections will travel around the county to offer voters who do not have an acceptable photo ID an opportunity to obtain a free voter photo ID card.
Locations and times include:
• West Stanly Senior Center – Oct. 5, 10 a.m. to noon.
• Albemarle Senior Center – Oct. 19, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
• E.E. Waddell Center – Oct. 24, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• New London Town Hall – Oct. 26, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Niven Community Center – Nov. 3, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
• Albemarle Senior Center – Nov. 16, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
• Locust Community Building – Nov. 17, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
• Badin Library – Nov. 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Oakboro Library – Nov. 29, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• West Stanly Senior Center – Nov. 30, 10 a.m. to noon.
• Norwood Community Building – Dec. 1, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
