On Oct. 28, the Stanly County Chamber of Commerce will host a Reverse Raffle in partnership with the Albemarle Rotary Club at the Stanly County Senior Center in Albemarle.

The event, from 6-9 p.m., will have a Halloween theme for the evening.

Come in your favorite Halloween costume and plan to enjoy food, entertainment, music, reverse raffle and games throughout the evening. Many second chance prizes will be awarded.

Each raffle ticket gets two entries into the event and one chance to win cash. The last ticket drawn wins $3,000 and runners-up win $1,000 and $500. Tickets are $100 per couple and only 300 are available for sale.

Proceeds from the Reverse Raffle support the mission of the Chamber and its efforts to promote business and industry in Stanly County. The Albemarle Rotary Club uses proceeds to continue to support scholarships, award community grants and other community projects.
