Gray Stone holds Knightfest, crowns Homecoming Queen and King

The annual middle school Knightfest and homecoming festivities were held Oct. 6.

Preceding Gray Stone’s homecoming soccer game against Jackson Day, the event was planned by Jennifer Rinaggio’s high school leadership class. For several months, the class worked to secure food vendors, inflatables, games and executed a Spirit Week that included a pep rally to celebrate all fall student-athletes.

During halftime of the men’s soccer team victory of 5-0 over Jackson Day, a homecoming crowning took place. After a school-wide vote, Aniston Belk and Desmond Bullard were crowned the 2023 Queen and King, respectively.

The Lance sponsored a homecoming dance on Saturday evening for all high school students.
