The Stanly County Board of Elections will have an open house 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 7 at Stanly Commons, 1000 N. First St., Albemarle.

This event serves as a kickoff to the 2024 election cycle, which officially begins with the opening of candidate filing at noon Dec. 4.

Information will be available concerning voting, registration, candidate filing, photo ID and serving as a precinct official.

Help choose the next “I Voted” sticker, watch a voting equipment demonstration or participate in a relay race.

The first 100 attendees will receive a grab bag and be entered in door prize drawings.
