Stanly Board of Elections reveals finalists for ‘I Voted’ contest

Six finalists have been chosen for Stanly County’s inaugural “I Voted” sticker contest.

Fifth grade classes from five schools submitted 24 entries. Participating schools were East Albemarle, Norwood, Richfield, Badin and Central.

Early voting will be conducted Thursday through Nov. 3 via Facebook likes. Election Day in-person voting will be held Nov. 7 at the Stanly Commons during the Board of Elections Open House from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The winner will be announced at the Board of Elections meeting at 4 p.m. Nov. 7. The winner’s design will be used during the 2024 elections.
