The City of Albemarle is accepting nominations for the role of grand marshal of the Albemarle Christmas Parade happening Dec. 9.

Members of the community may nominate an individual, organization or family by Nov. 13.

The rules for the nomination process are:
· Nominee shall reside in the City of Albemarle.
· Nominee must be in good standing in the community.
· Nominee should be person, organization or family that has displayed outstanding service, support and commitment to the community, county, state and/or country.
