The 8th Annual Veterans Day Car & Truck Show and Customer Appreciation Day, hosted by Disabled American Veterans and Friendly Chevrolet, will be 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at Friendly, 2307 U.S. Highway 52, Albemarle. (Rain date is Nov. 18.)

There will be free food and entertainment, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle.
Specialty awards will be presented to Best of Show, Work In Progress, Dealer’s Choice and Spectators or Fan Choice.

Registration of all makes and models is 8 a.m. to noon for $25.
