Smith, a 2018 Pfeiffer graduate, earned the crown as part of the Miss Statesville pageant that was held Nov. 11 at the Performing Arts Center at North Iredell High School in Olin.

As part of the competition, Smith performed a vocal rendition of “Feeling Good” in the talent competition.

Other portions of the competition included an on-stage conversation, a private interview, physical fitness and an evening gown competition.

Smith has competed in seven pageants, as she has represented Stanly County, Central Carolina, Raleigh, Queen City, Blue Ridge Valley and Johnston County.

With the win, Smith will appear in the Miss North Carolina pageant for the seventh time.

The 2024 Miss North Carolina Pageant will take place June 24-29, 2024 at the High Point Theatre in High Point.
