According to the arrest warrant, the offense occurred on March 13.

Holmes was arrested on Nov. 7 and released by Mecklenburg County authorities under a $2,000 secured bond.

“I encourage the public to be aware of insurance scams and report suspected scams or insurance fraud immediately by calling 919-807-6840 or toll free from anywhere in North Carolina at 888-680-7684,” Causey said.
