House fire displaces family in western Stanly

A Red Cross family has been displaced as a result of a house fire early Thursday morning.
Information provided to the SNAP by a neighbor, as well as social media reports, indicate that a fire at 169 Hilltop Road resulted in Oakboro Fire Department units being dispatched to the home around 3:45 a.m. The home is the residence of Mark and Monica Tucker, and is apparently heavily damaged.
