Albemarle Police: Pedestrian hit on East Main

Albemarle Police responded shortly before 6 p.m. Thursday after a vehicle traveling east on East Main Street struck a pedestrian crossing the road not in the crosswalk, a city spokesperson said.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital in stable condition. The driver of the vehicle has not been charged.
