Leaves

Sarah White writes the Locust News for the SNAP.

City of Locust’s last set date for leaf pick-up is Saturday. There will be two options this season. You can use large paper bags to be set at curbside. Or you can do leaf burritos. Leaves may be placed on a tarp and folded in “burrito” style, covered by the tarp at the curbside. These tarps may be used to enclose loose leaves in piles at curbside. The tarps must be able to be lifted by one person. No Plastic bags will be collected. The leaf pick-up service provider will not take uncovered leaves piled at the roadside. Their equipment does not allow for vacuuming or collecting wet leaves. No brush – leaves only. Paper bags are available at Locust City Hall while supplies last.

Freedom Baptist Church will host The Littles in concert at 6 p.m. Sunday. This is sure to be a special night. Come on out and worship in song. Freedom Baptist is at 20015 Coley Store Road.
