Tillery Compassionate Care has joined membership in the National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation (NPHI).

Comprising more than 100 not-for-profit, community-integrated hospice and palliative care providers, NPHI is committed to ensuring patients and their families have access to quality care during life’s final stages.

“Tillery Compassionate Care is excited to join the National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation,” said Lori Thayer, CEO. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate with members across the country and be a voice in an organization that is dedicated to advocating for non-profit care programs nationwide. “NPHI’s core belief is that end-of-life care should be tailored to reflect each patient’s unique goals, values and preferences. As an essential part of this collective effort, members from across the nation collectively define the gold standard for hospice care and provide invaluable guidance to patients and their families during life’s final stages. By becoming part of NPHI, Tillery Compassionate Care embraces a commitment to person-centered advanced illness care — enabling individuals to concentrate on their own comfort in their final moments of life.

Driven by the needs of patients and their families, rather than profit motives, NPHI’s members seek to revolutionize how individuals and institutions perceive end-of-life care. They strive to help individuals live as well as possible until they reach the end of life’s journey.

Tillery Compassionate Care, a nonprofit organization, was founded through the grassroots efforts of people in the community and it continues to be governed locally by a board of directors. Tillery Compassionate Care has been able to provide care to more than 7,500 seriously ill residents since 1981.
