Pfeiffer University Athletics will host a team reunion event on Feb. 10 as a part of the USA South home basketball doubleheader.

The Pfeiffer women’s team will take on rival Greensboro College at 2 p.m. with the men’s team playing Mary Baldwin University after the conclusion of the women’s game scheduled for 4 p.m.

An alumni social will be conducted in the Falcon Club from 3-5:30 p.m.

The teams in reunion include each men’s basketball teams that were coached by Tom Childress, Dave Davis, Francis Essic, John Lentz and Bobby Lutz. A pair of women’s soccer teams will also be honored.

The inaugural women’s soccer team from 1993 will be celebrated in their 30th year reunion. In addition, the 2013 team will celebrate their 10th reunion.

All interested members of the men’s basketball teams and the women’s soccer teams from 1993 and 2013 can register to attend by emailing advance@pfeiffer.edu or can contact the Pfeiffer University Advancement Office at 704-463-3034. The deadline to RSVP is Feb. 5.
