Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont will open its new store at 850 N.C. Highway 24-27 Bypass East, Suite 1, Albemarle, in the same shopping center as Belk and Lowe’s), at 10 a.m. Feb. 16.

This marks the first store in Stanly County and the 35th store in the region.

The first 200 shoppers will receive a free reusable tote bag.

Individuals can spin a prize wheel to win Goodwill swag and other prizes – like water bottles, pens, sunglasses and more.

Throughout grand opening day, there will be “golden ticket” scratch-off cards, ranging in value from $5 – $20, for people to find in the store and use during grand opening weekend at the new Albemarle store only.
