There is a new location for curbside voting at the Board of Elections early voting site at the Stanly County Commons, 1000 N. 1st St., Albemarle.

The curbside voting area is still on the 2nd Street side of the building, but it has been moved to a specific area of parking spaces. Campaigning is not allowed within 10 feet of the
curbside voting area.

Curbside voting is available to voters who are unable to enter the voting enclosure due to age or physical disability. These voters are permitted to vote from their vehicle with the assistance of a precinct official.
