Stanly County Sheriff’s Office responded Thursday night to a  communicated threat at North Stanly High School.

Sheriff Jeff Crisco said a “young juvenile got access to a cellphone and called in a threat.”

Crisco said law enforcement arrived, cleared the area and found no evidence of an actual threat. No events were happening at the school, Crisco said.
