An Easter egg hunt will be at 2 p.m. March 30 in West Badin Community Park. The Easter bunny will be on site. Donations of plastic eggs, candy, juice, water, chips, etc. will be appreciated.

Church News

Pastor Anthony Neal, and Lady Christie Neal, will be honored for 10 years of service to First Baptist Church this weekend.

The celebration begins with the 10th Year Pastoral Anniversary Banquet on Saturday at Anderson Grove Family Life Center at 4 p.m. It continues Sunday at First Baptist Church at 11 a.m. The speaker will be Dr. Winwood Galmon Jr., of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Goldsboro.

The finale will be at 3 p.m. The speaker will be Dr. Robert L. McGowens of Greater Galilee Baptist Church, Charlotte and Winston-Salem.

All are invited to Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Badin, on Sunday as it honors Bishop Tavaris Johnson and First Lady Whitnei Johnson on their 3rd Pastoral Anniversary.

The 10 a.m. speaker will be Pastor Beverly Alexander of Harvest of Faith Worship Center, Winston-Salem. The 3 p.m. speaker will be Apostle Dwayne Simms, of Greater International Deliverance Ministry, High Point. Lunch will be served at 12:30.

At 10 a.m. March 17, Evangelist Vanessa Chambers will be the speaker at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

Saints Delight Church will host a blood drive for the Red Cross 3-7 p.m. May 15.
