Singing

Everyone is invited to be a guest of the congregation for its Second Sunday Night Gospel Singing at Freedom Baptist Church. The Band of Brothers will provide the music at 6 p.m. March 10.
Freedom Baptist is at 200015 Coley Store Road.

Dance Lessons

City of Locust Parks and Recreation will offer Carolina shag lessons at the Locust Community Building. There will be five weeks of classes on Tuesdays March 12 to April 16. No partner needed, singles and couples are welcome. Line Dances will be 6-7 p.m., then Beginners Shag 1 from 7-8 p.m., followed by Beginners Shag 2 from 8-9 p.m.
Line Dances are $25 for five weeks and Beginners Shag will be $50 for five weeks. There is a $5 discount for Locust residents.

Volunteers Needed

Your help is needed to deliver lunches on two dedicated routes Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers are asked to deliver one route once per month.

Locust Parks and Rec will do a guided tour of Morrow Mountain State Park on March 22.
