The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary annually awards scholarships to recognize graduating seniors or students completing a GED within the fiscal school year from Kannapolis City, Cabarrus or Stanly County Schools.

For 2024, at least three scholarships will be granted to students who will be attending an accredited college, community college or technical school as full-time students upon their graduation.

The recipients will receive a scholarship ranging from $500 to $1,000 to be paid to their school of choice. Preference will be given to those planning to attend in-state, public institutions.

The recipients will be chosen by a Scholarship Committee looking at each applicant’s financial need, their involvement in helping to better their community and their commendable character traits.
