Sheriff’s Office: Man facing multiple drug charges under $1M bond

On March 13, the Stanly County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a narcotics search warrant at 213 N. Broome St. in Albemarle.
Upon a search of the residence, more than 47 grams of a white powdery substance that field tested positive for fentanyl was located in the home.
Deamani Montreal Williams was found inside the home and taken into custody.
Williams was charged with the following Level III trafficking opium or heroin, possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver, schedule II maintaining vehicle or dwelling place for sale controlled substance and controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park.
Williams is in custody at the Stanly County Jail under a $1 million cash bond.
