The latest hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service warns of severe thunderstorms, hail and a possible tornado on Thursday.

“A level one of five risk of severe thunderstorms will result ahead of a powerful low pressure system today, mainly between noon and 9 PM. Damaging wind gusts and hail will be the primary hazards, although an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. In addition, locally heavy rainfall could produce isolated instances of flash flooding, especially in urban areas. “Finally, occasionally windy conditions are expected Thursday through Friday, with gusts between 30 and 40 mph possible.”
