The 25th Kerri D. Efird Bike Ride had 192 motorcyclists participate in last Saturday’s event. More than 400 people were fed in the charity event at West Stanly High, with more than $18,000 raised. N.C. Highway Patrol, Stanly County Sheriff’s Office, Albemarle Police, Troy Police and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office provided escorts for the ride. The money raised will go to scholarships for seniors at West Stanly. More than $117,000 has been given away throughout the years. (Contributed by SCOTT EFIRD)
