Back the Blue NC organized a GoFundMe page to benefit the families of the four law enforcement officers killed in last Monday’s mass shooting in Charlotte.
One of the officers was Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Joshua Eyer, who was a 2017 graduate of Pfeiffer University.
The fund created by the nonprofit — at https://www.gofundme.com/f/assist-cmpd-officers-us-marshals-killed-in-tragic-shooting — had raised more than $229,000 of its $350,000 goal by midday Monday.
