The Stanly County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division has worked with Anson County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division to investigate multiple sexual offenses against minors.
Jamoszio Shabaun Burch was subsequently charged with two counts of statutory sexual offense with a person who is 15 years of age or younger for the crimes which allegedly happened in Stanly.
Burch is being held at the Montgomery County Jail. Anson County Sheriff’s Office has charged Burch with human trafficking as well as indecent liberties with a child.
It was revealed in March that the Stanly County Sheriff’s Office was investigating claims against a Burch.
Burch, WSOC-TV reported, had been a coach of local basketball teams such as the AAU-affiliated NC Jayhawks and at Union Academy in Monroe. His Facebook page lists him as founder of the Jayhawks, a ProtegeSkills trainer and basketball teacher.
