“The Story of the Albemarle Hotel” will be told by Lewis Bramlett (history) and Jordan Jones (restoration) at 2 p.m. June 9 at Central United Methodist Church Fellowship Center, 172 N. Second St., Albemarle.

A reception will follow at the hotel building featuring a sampling of food from Christine’s Wood Fire Grill.
