Stanly County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a fire that happened Tuesday in Badin.
“At this time I can confirm that there was a fire at one of the quadruplexes on Kirk Place in Badin,” Assistant Fire Marshal Aaron K. Byrd said in an email.
Byrd said one was unit was “heavily damaged,” while three others had smoke damage.
No one was reported injured.
Assisting Badin VFD were East Side, Bethany, Albemarle  and New London fire departments.
The cause of this fire remains under investigation.
