A driver involved in an accident Friday morning on the Northeast Connector in Albemarle has died.
David Aaron, 41, the driver involved in a crash at the intersection of the Northeast Connector and Johnson Street, died from his injuries in a hospital on Saturday.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Albemarle Police arrived at approximately 8:17 a.m. Friday on the scene of a single-vehicle accident with a reported pin-in and serious injury at the intersection of Northeast Connector and Johnson Street.
There were no other occupants in the vehicle. No other injuries were reported.
