West Stanly volleyball standout signs with Augusta

West Stanly volleyball standout, Kayli Cleaver, signed her letter of commitment Monday to play volleyball for Augusta University. West Stanly volleyball standout Kayli Cleaver will be a Jaguar next season.

On Monday, the senior signed her national letter of intent to attend and play volleyball at August University, a NCAA Div. II school and member of the Peach Belt Conference.

Cleaver posted more than 1,000 kills in her time with the Colts. Playing varsity four seasons, West Stanly amassed a 78-15 overall record, winning three Rocky River Conference regular-season titles (2019, 2020, 2021) and four RRC tourney titles.

West Stanly has not lost a conference regular-season matchup in three straight seasons, a 29-game win streak. In four seasons with the team, Cleaver and the Colts were 38-1 in regular-season RRC games.
