Albemarle police issue warrants in recent shots fired incident

Albemarle Police Department has announced issuing warrants in relation to an incident of shots fired which happened Sunday.

The incident, which APD said appears to be domestic-related, happened at approximately 2:35 p.m. on the 400 block of South Bell Avenue. No one was hit by the shots and no injuries were reported. The incident was not a random act, according to a press release.

Warrants have been issued for two suspects, including Santarrio Jarrell Harrell, who is not a resident of Stanly. The charges for his warrant are for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharging a firearm in the city limits, injury to personal property and felony conspiracy. 

A warrant was also issued for Lillian Kaitlin Jenkins on charges of felony conspiracy and accessory after the fact.

The case remains under investigation.
