As part of her Joytime Ministries, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, Greene presented an hour-long Bible study to a packed house at Oakboro Music Hall.

Greene signed copies of her new book of devotionals and gave 25 away to attendees. A total of 91 attended the event.

Attendees enjoyed a light breakfast presented by Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, then many followed along in their Bibles and took notes during Greene’s presentation.

She asked two questions of each attendee to answer to themselves: do you pray big prayers, and what do you need God to do for you today?

Greene broke down the word “pray” into four ideals on how the Bible teaches people to pray: Praise, Repent, Ask and Yield.

“We had a room full of women who were excited to be together,” Greene said. “We laughed. We cried, and we were encouraged as we thought more about the importance of prayer.”
