Florence King Goins

Florence King Goins, 83, of Albemarle passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Bethany Woods Nursing Center. Her funeral was at 12 Noon on Monday, June 18, 2018 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Beaver officiating. Burial will follow in the Palmerville Cemetery. The family received friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle from 11 AM until 12 noon prior to the service.
Born January 7, 1935 in Patrick County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Leone Culler King. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of New London.
Mrs. Goins was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Otis Goins on November 19, 2017.
Survivors include son Dennis Goins and wife Paulette of Taylorsville, NC, daughter Brenda Petrea of Albemarle, brothers Troy King (Frances) of King, NC, and Kenneth King (Mary Ann) of Ararat VA, granddaughter Stephanie Lowder of Albemarle and great-grandchildren Logan and Gideon Lowder.
Brothers Franklin King and Cecil King also preceded her in death.
