United Way director resigns
The United Way of Stanly County Executive Committee has accepted the resignation of United Way of Stanly County Executive Director Jennifer McSwain, effective July 6.
“I would like to express my gratitude for the opportunities for professional growth and development working at UWSC has provided the last four years,” McSwain said in press release. “I will always be an advocate for UWSC mission, vision and values.”
The UWSC Executive Committee, under President Iggy Austin, has formed a transition team to guide the search for a replacement of executive director.
UWSC is accepting resumes until the position is filled. Resumes can be sent to Austin at iaustin@stanlypartnership.org.
The committee thanked McSwain for her “dedication and commitment” to the community and wished her well in her future endeavors.
