South Stanly graduate receives scholarship
Subway Restaurant of Norwood has announced that Jude Hahn has been awarded a $2,500 Fresh Start Scholarship.

The Fresh Start scholarship provides financial help to Subway restaurant employees continuing their education at a college, university, or a vocational school. The program is funded by the Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation, Inc.
“We are very proud of Jude. She has been a Subway Sandwich Artist for nearly two years,” said owners Ricky and Allison Simpson.
“Our Sandwich Artists work hard every day to provide their guests with a great restaurant experience,” said Allison Simpson. “Jude is very deserving of this honor and we wish her continued success.”
Hahn is a graduate of South Stanly High School and will attend Western Carolina University to double major in Environmental Science and Music Performance. Jude will also be a member of the Western Carolina marching band.
