Samantha Elizabeth Neal, 22, of Newnan GA, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018, at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill.

Her funeral service will be 4 PM Thursday in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Les Lanier officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care from 3 until 4 prior to the service. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Warm Springs City Cemetery, Warm Springs, GA.

   Born April 29, 1995, in Suisun City, California, she was the daughter of Craig Lamar Norris and Kristina Ringler Norris of Warm Springs, GA. Samantha was a homemaker and a Christian. She loved art and reading and was a terrific mother. Samantha was a very free spirit. She was her moth- er’s best friend and was the most supportive wife her husband could have ever asked for.

In addition to her parents, Samantha is survived by her husband Justin Robert Neal and daughter Anorah Marie Neal, brothers Craig Andrew Norris of Panama City, FL and Zachary Tyler Norris of Tampa FL, grandparents Lamar and Peggy Norris of  Loganville, GA and Art and Teresa Long of LaGrange, GA, and maternal grandparents Rita Gaye Geiskopf and Michael Geiskopf of Vacaville, CA.

   The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Stanly County Humane Society, 2049 Badin Rd., Albe- marle, NC 28001.
