The family of John Stegall held a celebration of life for him on June 23.
They stated that we all knew he was not a formal or professional person so they felt they wanted to remember the man that he was in a way he would appreciate.
Guests brought lawn chairs or folding chairs and sat in at the gravesite, some sharing a story or memory that they had of him or read a favorite scripture verse(s).
No one was required to speak if they so chose.
Lunch followed over at the house.
The family would like to thank all who were able to attend. The Stegall family felt this was what their father would have liked, not fancy, not formal but just done in loving memory of John Stegall.
Prayer meeting is now on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to join us in the fellowship hall.
