Irene Wagoner

Irene Moss Wagoner passed away on June 25, 2018 at Emory Hospital Hospice in Atlanta, GA.
She was born on March 16, 1921, to the late Will and Sallie Glover Moss, and was preceded in death by her husband, Warren “Monk” Wagoner.
She is survived by a sister, Willene Moss; son Tony (Pat) Wagoner, daughters Bobbie (David Harris) Wagoner and Marian (Charles) Luscuskie; grandchildren Dana Lloyd and Lauren Luscuskie; and two great-grandchildren.
All are welcome at a memorial service for Irene on July 22 at 3 p.m. at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church at 111 E. Church St. in Richfield.
Except for her last years spent at Arbor Terrace Assisted Living in Decatur, GA, Irene was a life-long resident of Richfield, where she worked in the textile manufacturing industry up until her retirement.
She was an expert at cooking, gardening, sewing, quilting, crocheting and keeping a lovely home.
She was an active member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, where her fried chicken, deviled eggs, pies and cakes were always enjoyed at covered-dish dinners.
