Ridgecrest hears ‘What if it isn’t true?’
Ridgecrest Presbyterian Church
July 15, the message, “So…What If It Isn’t True?”, was presented by Larry Pittman. The sermon scriptures were from I Corinthians 15:12-19. The Old Testament reading was from Genesis 2:15-17.
The session met after worship service. Homecoming is set for Sept. 9. We hope to see a lot of new people in the congregation to help us celebrate this year. Worship service will be followed by a covered dish meal. Please make plans to join us. We would love to have you.
July 22, the message, “So…What Does It Mean?”, was presented by Pittman. The sermon scriptures were from I Corinthians 15:20-28. The Old Testament readings were from Genesis 3:8-21.
July 22 was also the Sunday we welcomed Jatelynn Lee to our congregation.
Lee met with the session last Sunday and officially joined the membership of Ridgecrest Presbyterian Church.
Chris and Kristen Lee are her proud parents, and sister is Maleah. Jatelynn is the granddaughter of Lewis and Wanda Furr, all of Albemarle. We are all proud of Jatelynn Lee.
Prayer meeting is now on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to join us in the fellowship hall.
The July food challenge for the Stanly Community Christian Ministry is staple items (flour, sugar, vegetable oil, broth, cooking spray). They are also in need of soup, Beef-a-roni, Hamburger Helper, jelly, canned meats, and oatmeal.
