North Stanly tennis tops West Stanly, 8-1

Two women’s tennis teams from Stanly having solid seasons are the North Stanly Comets and West Stanly Colts.

The Colts started the season with six straight wins, including two Rocky River Conference wins, but suffered narrow losses to Central Cabarrus (5-4) and East Montgomery (6-3) before heading into the matchup with the Comets.
