Barbara Marie Tischbein Jernoske, 82, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Jernoske was born October 13, 1935 in Manhattan, NY to the late Ferdinand Tischbein and the late Mary Gerstmar Tischbein.
She was also preceded in death by husband, Charles John Jernoske.
Barbara was raised in Vineland, NJ and lived in Mickleton, NJ and was a nurse and retired to Mt. Pleasant, NC. She loved cooking, gardening, was an avid animal lover and enjoyed anything Sci-Fi.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m., Monday, September 24, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. A funeral mass will be on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Albemarle officiated by Father Peter Fitzgibbons.
Survivors include daughter, Marie (Donald) Applegate of Tabernacle, NJ; sons, Charles Jernoske of Mt Pleasant, Mark Jernoske of Westville, NJ; two grandchildren, Ben and Grant Applegate; and sister, Pauline Garrett.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Jernoske family.
