Comets top Bulls in tennis, 8-1, stay in second in YVC

In Yadkin Valley Conference women’s tennis on Monday afternoon, the North Stanly Comets hosted South Stanly. The Comets moved to 12-1 overall and 11-1 in conference play with an 8-1 win over the Bulls (9-4, 9-4).

North Stanly will have senior night Wednesday against North Moore. The Comets play the next three matches on the road to round out the regular season, including Oct. 3 on the road at first-place Gray Stone.
