Mary Frances Thomas Ridenhour, 90, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at her home.

Funeral services were Friday, October 19, 3 p.m. in the Chapel at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant, officiated by pastors Samuel Hall and Brooks Howard. Burial followed in the Oak Grove United Methodist Church cemetery. The Ridenhour family received friends from 1:30-3 prior to the service.
Mary Frances was born on January 20, 1928 in Harnett County to the late Herbert Thomas and Lizzie Underwood Thomas.
During her life she worked in the restaurant business for many years at the 49’er Grill in Mt. Pleasant and What-A-Burger #2 in Concord. She also worked at Tuscarora Mills and as a care giver for many people throughout the years.
In her time away from work she enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking and watching soap operas.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Archie Ridenhour, Sr.; brothers, Frank, John and Onnie Thomas; and a sister, Ethel Price.
Mary Frances is survived by a daughter, Teresa Moss (Roger); son, Archie Ridenhour, Jr. (Beverly); grandchildren Kimberly Moss Eudy (Monty) and Lee Ridenhour; and many nieces and nephews.
