Wendy Kohn Little of High Point died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018 at her home.
A private memorial service will be at a later date.
Born in 1973 in Albemarle, she was a daughter of Jim and Rita Kohn of Albemarle
She was educated at Albemarle High School and Stanly Community College.
She was owner of Thrifty Little Things, taught chalk painting classes and was a blogger for many years.
Wendy adored her children and grandchildren. Her therapy dog, Axle, was always close by.
Her passion was being known as the Junk Queen. Whereever she found treasures on the side of the road, they became works of art as she rehabed vintage pieces for the past 23 years.
She also took pleasure in creating a beautiful yard with yellow roses being her favorite.
Wendy’s safe haven was relaxing on her porch with a Mello Yello. There she could rest her amazing, talented, creative mind.
She was preceded in death by a baby brother.
She is survived by her sons, Jordan Faulkner and Walker Faulkner; a daughter, Marissa Faulkner; a brother, Reid Kohn and wife Melissa of Charlotte; two grandchildren, Shayleah and Kyla; and a very special friend, Amanda Hatley.
