Lessie Mae Rhodes Huneycutt of New London died Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Bethany Woods Nursing.
Her funeral will be at 11 am Saturday, December 22, 2018 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel, Albemarle. Burial will be in Centerview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
Born April 6, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Rufus William and Myrtle Church Rhodes. She worked at Jeffries Southern Processor and for the Stanly County Museum and Library.
Her husband, James Clifford Huneycutt preceded her in death. A son, John Michael Rhodes, died in March 1998.
She is survived by a son, Terry Rhodes and wife Cindy, of New London.
