Cannie Paul “CP” Blalock, 68, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 at Forrest Oakes.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Edwards Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Mr. Blalock was born on September 8, 1950 in Stanly County to the late Glenn Christine Blalock and Mattie Maner Sinclair.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran. After serving in the Army, CP worked at Manning Ceramic Tile in Mt. Gilead.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers.
He is survived by his son, Phillip Blalock of Albemarle and his daughter, Brandy Horton (Dennis) of Hendersonville, NC; two grandchildren: Devin Horton and Kamryn Blalock; sister: Mary Jo Potts (William); and brother: Eddie Blalock (Janice).
