Gray Stone women move to 3-0, win at Mount Pleasant

The Gray Stone women’s varsity basketball team went on the road at Mount Pleasant and improved to 3-0 with a 63-39 win over the Tigers.
Olivia Payne led three in double figures for Gray Stone with 17 points while Danika Ray added 14 points and Secorra Medley scored 12.
Freshman Sabria West led the Tigers (1-2) with 10 points.
The Knights led Mount by two points after one quarter, 15-13 and outscored the Tigers 36-15 over the next two periods en route to the win.
Gray Stone opens conference play at home Friday against North Moore.
