South Stanly men stay third in YVC with road win at Gray Stone

The South Stanly men’s basketball team maintained third place in the Yadkin Valley Conference standings a game behind Chatham Central with Friday’s road win at Gray Stone, 56-34.

Justin Gaddy led the Bulls (12-5, 7-2 YVC) with 26 points, knocking down six 3-pointers in the win for South. Gaddy is now 31 points away from scoring his 1,000th career point for the Bulls.

Jaquez Cooke added 10 points for South.

David Almond was the top scorer for Gray Stone with 10 points.

South Stanly hosts Uwharrie Charter Tuesday night then travels to Albemarle Thursday while Gray Stone hosts South Davidson.
